Eora Crossing

2004

Staged as part of the 2004 Sydney Festival, Eora Crossing was a spectacular undertaking for Legs. Directed by acclaimed Indigenous director Wesley Enoch, the show combined traditional Indigenous dance with acrobatics and aerials on the walls of the Museum of Sydney, the site of Sydney’s first Government House.

The show investigated the story of the land on which it was performed not through a chronology of its history, but through the feelings evoked by living upon layers and layers of humanity.
