HOLDING ACHILLES
By David Morton
Our epic collaboration with Dead Puppet Society, Holding Achilles is a stunning new adaptation reclaiming the queer aspects of Homer’s Iliad. Set against the brutal violence of the Trojan war, this production reimagines the legendary hero’s relationship with his lesser-known lover Patroclus. Featuring an ensemble cast, aerial performance and ARIA winner Montaigne performing a haunting new score composed with Tony Buchen and Chris Bear of Grizzly Bear. A tale of grief and love with breathtaking costume and set design, Holding Achilles is an epic tale of mythic proportions.
