James Beach
MANAGER
James has worked in theatre in many capacities since first being enchanted as a wide-eyed lad by the pantos at Sydney’s Phillip Street Theatre. Holding a Bachelor of Creative Arts (Hons) from the University of Wollongong and a Graduate Diploma in Dramatic Art (Directing) from NIDA, he directed and produced several independent productions in Sydney, including the Australian Premiere of Neil LaBute’s Reasons to Be Pretty (DTC, 2012), Michael Gow’s Europe (Seymour, 2014), and Van Badham’s Poster Girl (TRS, 2008). James worked for Sydney Opera House Presents from 2012 to 2018 and produced the premiere of KING (SP&Co) as part of the 2019 Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Festival, before starting with Legs as Company Manager in 2020.
